From the Director
O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. Psalm 30:2 A few days before Christmas one of our former Compass Christian Preschool students was diagnosed with cancer. I wish that this was the first time I have been in this situation but sadly it is not. I have witnessed miracles of healing and know that Annabelle Grace will be healed. Watching this family, who is strong in faith, move through this journey is inspirational. Parents play a huge role in how a child copes. A calm, loving, present and reassuring parent can help the child to cope with the treatment. Please help this amazing family by praying for them and supporting them through this difficult time.
As many of you may know, sweet Annabelle Grace started attending Compass in the 1’s class. Her brother Sean Ryan also attended our preschool, and her youngest brother John Wyatt is a current student. The Bartel’s have been a CCP family since 2012.
To help support one of our amazing CCP families, we are selling AGTough t-shirts in the office. The shirts that we have are a limited edition. The shirts that we have on hand is all that is available at this price. Additional sizes are available on her website https://agtough.myshopify.com/ and pricing does vary. We will be hosting AGTough spirit days going forward and would love to have you wear her shirt or a purple to show your support.
The Story of #AGTough
Annabelle Grace, age 9, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer of the left humerus) on 12/18/19. Your purchase will help the family directly as they battle the mounting medical costs for her treatment. All proceeds are being given directly to the Bartel family.
Thank you for your continued love, support and prayers for our sweet AG.
We also have #AGTough silicone bracelets for $2 each
Our shirt inventory: YOUTH Med and XLg* (*The Youth XLg may work for small adults)
Our next AGTough support day will be March 24th. Wear your AGTough shirt, bracelet or anything purple to show your support!
Like language development, children develop their musical skills through imitating and memorizing rhythms and tones of songs such as clapping to a beat and singing in tune. We will continue to work on steady beat while saying our memory verse as well as working on micro and macro beats while listening and singing. This month in music, we are still discovering percussion instruments and will be listening to rock & roll (kid appropriate!) music from the different decades.
Please do not allow your child to eat on either of the outdoor playgrounds. People are leaving behind food and it is being ground into the surface. We work really hard to keep rodents and rats away from our preschool. Leaving behind food encourages them to look on our playgrounds for their food source.
