From the Director

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

When the preschool decided to open school for the 20/21 school year, our team made a commitment to do whatever we could to complete this school year. There are times that it seems overwhelming and impossible and I question our decision to open. So many preschools in the area were not able to open and some even closed for good; knowing that helps me keep focused on grinding through the school year. It feels different with less students and staff and parents not being able to come in the building for drop off and pick up. But there is also a feeling of peace throughout the school and we have been able to connect with our students on a different level. We are able to give them extra love and support during this difficult time and that is what ultimately important. So if you are also struggling with the unknown, lean on the Lord. Remember his promises, lean on Him and keep remembering His Word.

In times of doubt, remember His promises. Remember who He has always been. Even in doubt and uncertainty, if you keep going to Him, He will continually show Himself to be trustworthy. Romans 8:28

Thank you for being along for the ride this year and know that we are praying for you and your family daily.

Compass Christian Preschool continues to seek guidance from Tarrant County Health Department and Texas State Childcare Licensing. They have started making some changes regarding the length of quarantine after an exposure. We will continue to follow our Health and Illness policy. If your child exhibits any of the symptoms outlined in our Screening Procedures (or any other illness symptoms) while at preschool, they will be immediately isolated from other children and you will be called to take them home. Your child must be picked up within 30 minutes of the phone call and must remain home for 48 hours regardless of circumstance. Please note that the health department will not let us attempt to distinguish whether the symptoms are caused by COVID-19 or another cause such as allergies or a common cold. Any one of these symptoms prevents a child from attending preschool until they have been symptom free for 48 hours.

If Compass Christian Preschool must close because of the COVID-19 virus after the first of the month, tuition will not be refunded or prorated. If this closure extends into the following month, then tuition will be prorated for that month. If a classroom(s) must be quarantined, tuition will not be prorated or refunded as we will pay our teachers during this time.

Heroes of the Bible is our theme for Compass Christian Preschool Summer Camp!  Please join us as we explore how God used ordinary people to do extraordinary things! Numerous hands on, sensory, dramatic play and cooking activities, as well as fun games and art activities will inspire the curiosity in our campers about each of our real-life heroes.  All camps are led by Compass Preschool teachers.
