From the Director

Wow! February brought an unexpected surprise. I never thought we would get a winter storm that seemed like it didn’t want to leave. We hope your children got to play in and experience the snow as it does not happen often here in Texas. The church is still cleaning up from damage to our Pre-K classrooms, offices and our workroom. Our maintenance team has been working diligently to get us back into our classrooms.  We are hoping that will happen next week.

During the storm, I prayed and thought a lot about our students and families this year. I am so encouraged with how the preschool has battled to stay afloat and still keep our forward momentum.  It is amazing to see how resilient the children are in these trying times, I know that it is God’s hand that makes us all stronger during these challenging times.  As I reflect back over my life, I have felt God carrying me through the hard times and lifts me up on the highest of highs. It is our greatest joy to be able to teach your child to trust in our Lord and turn to him in difficult times.  We find his strength when we take time each day to read His Word and lots and lots of prayer. If you are struggling, please know that we are here for you and that God will carry you through. He is always there for us. – Ms. Kim
