Thanks to those who have paid your September tuition,  which was due August 1, 2024.  For those who have not paid, please do so by Friday, August 16, 2024, to retain your child’s place in the program.  The new tuition policy was on each registration form and has been posted on our Facebook page and the website.  For those who have paid September tuition, there is no need to call or email us as you would have received a confirmation payment receipt at the conclusion of making your online payment.

Dear Compass Christian Preschool Families,

 We want to welcome you to the 24-25 school year. The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, September 3, 2024. As noted during registration, our tuition policy has changed.  Please see tuition changes and other important back to school information below:

• 24-25 NEW TUITION POLICY – The new tuition policy will be as follows: the first month/September tuition for each child will be due on Thursday, August 1, 2024.  The remaining tuition payments will be due on the first of the month, September – April.  Tuition will not be collected in May.  Tuition payments received after the 6^th of each month are considered late and a $5 per day late fee is assessed.  Please note that any September tuition which is not paid by August 6, 2024, will result in the loss of your child’s spot in his/her class and the registration fee.

• Our website is compasspreschool.com.  You will be able to find important dates and information on our website. In addition, please follow our Facebook page at Compass Christian Preschool.  Our phone number is 817-796-5123; please put this number in your cell phone; the number on your screen may be 817-906-1478, the church number.

• TEACHER INTRODUCTIONS – Each classroom teacher will call families in late August to introduce herself and learn more about your child. This call will come from her cell phone, so please answer an unknown number in case it’s your child’s teacher.   If you have any questions before then, please contact the preschool office at 817-796-5123.

• PARENT NIGHT – Due to scheduling difficulties prior to school starting for all families, we will not host a Parent Night. All the necessary topics will be discussed during Meet the Teacher.

• MEET THE TEACHER – Meet the Teacher will take place Friday, August 30, 2024, and will be scheduled in small groups. Teachers will send a Sign-Up Genius email no later than Friday, August 23, 2024.  Please watch your email and check your spam folder.

• STUDENT RECORDS – We must have a copy of your child’s immunization record and signed physician’s statement (page 6) on file by August 1, 2024.  Children will not be allowed to attend school after the first week without these items on file. Children in the four-year-old program and Transitional Kindergarten program must have a hearing and vision screening conducted by their pediatrician and a copy given to the preschool. Records from the previous school year cannot be transferred.   Please note your child’s class at the top of the forms; (Example: 2s, 3s, etc.)

• ALLERGY ACTION PLANS – If your child requires allergy medications, please contact Taylor Helgason at 817-796-5123 or by email at: taylorhelgason@compasspreschool.com.   Any Allergy Student with food allergies requiring medication must have an ALLERGY Action Plan on file, signed by your doctor.   In addition, all medications listed on the allergy action plan must include dosing instructions.  

• POTTY TRAINING – Please remember that children in our three, four, and transitional kindergarten classes MUST be fully potty trained. They cannot come to school in pull-ups or diapers. Children not potty trained in our threes, fours, or TK classes will need to withdraw from the program until they are fully potty trained. If you are struggling with potty training, please call us.

Our team looks forward to seeing all of you this fall. Please let us know if your situation has changed and your child will not be attending Compass Christian Preschool. We have a wait list with families waiting to enroll their children.
