See what everyone has to see about Compass Christian Preschool!

As a mom, nothing matters more to me than knowing my child is safe, loved, and being poured into daily—and that’s exactly what Compass Christian Preschool has provided our family for six years.  During those 6 years we have seen the program navigate the issues 2020 brought, grow, change, & all while putting Him first, trusting in the process & being kind and upfront to the families.  When looking for a preschool, CCP was highly recommended to me by a GCISD Kinder teacher because year after year she had seen CCP kids come in prepared & ready.

The teachers are not just educators—they’re role models & women that want to support the families of the school.  They truly see each child as an individual & want the best for them.  I’ve laughed and cried with this team of teachers and staff over the years knowing CCP wouldn’t be what it is today without every single one of them.

Thanks to CCP, I can honestly say my first 6 years of being a mom would have looked very different if it wasn’t for the mom friends I met at Compass   The community Ms. Kim has cultivated over so many years is something to be proud of.

I’m deeply grateful for the environment they’ve created—a place  where learning is joyful & with intent, sweet little friendships are madel, & Jesus is at the forefront of it all  While I’m terribly sad our family’s time there is coming to an end,  there is so much joy in knowing how many more families will be blessed by our sweet CCP.

When we first started looking for the right place for our oldest, everyone we talked to kept saying how much they loved Compass—and now we completely understand why. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt so welcomed, and most importantly, we could immediately see how loved and cared for our daughter was by every member of the staff. Our daughter started at Compass when she was two, and we loved it so much that as soon as our son was old enough for the one’s class, we enrolled him too. Each teacher our children have had has been absolutely incredible—both as educators and as people. Every year it’s bittersweet to move up to the next class because it’s so hard to say goodbye to such wonderful teachers. As a former teacher myself, I know firsthand how influential and important a teacher’s role is, and I can confidently say that the teachers at Compass are among the very best I’ve ever encountered. They love every student deeply, meet them where they are, nurture their growth, teach meaningful curriculum, and—above all—help them learn about God. Our kids come home every single day excited to share what they’ve learned and the joys from their day. As parents, choosing where to send your children can be one of the hardest decisions to make, but we can honestly say we have never once doubted ours. The hardest part of sending our daughter to Kindergarten was having to say goodbye to Compass Preschool. Our family will forever be thankful for the love, care, and foundation that Compass Christian Preschool has given our children.

This is our fourth year at Compass Christian Preschool, and through our time here I’ve learned that there truly is no better place to send your children. Every morning, my kids are greeted with smiles, hugs, and love before they’ve even stepped into their classrooms. From there, my boys eagerly unload their bags and run off to start their day—learning not only academics, but also how to love God, be a kind friend, and share the unique gifts they’ve been given. Each year brings its own special memories: the Pumpkin Patch visit, singing “I like to whisk it whisk it” while making pumpkin waffles with Ms. Kim, pajama day with the Polar Express ride, and the joyful end-of-year Luau. During our time at Compass, I’ve watched my firstborn grow in independence, my second develop into a natural leader among his classmates, and even my infant be greeted by name with cheerful coos and smiles. Compass isn’t just a preschool—it’s a loving community that nurtures every child and family who walks through its doors.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you how much we have loved our experience at Compass this year. Grant has had such a BIG year (new home, new school, new sister, etc.) and I am so thankful that during this year of big changes, he’s had the constant love and support of Ms. Jenn and Ms. Laci. Grant has grown so much this year and we’ve seen so much maturity from him in the last few months and I know that much of that maturity is due to the instruction, guidance, and LOVE that he has received in the Lions Class.

He looks forward to school every day and he prays for his friends and teachers every night. As a parent, there is truly no greater gift than to know that our child is loved and appreciated for who he is while he is at school. I am so thankful for our experience at Compass and am so incredibly grateful for the wonderful teachers that have touched our lives this year. You will all be part of our hearts forever.

Compass Christian Preschool was a source of light during a difficult time in our family. Our son had just been diagnosed with special needs and we were having trouble finding a program that would accept him and work with his challenges. After meeting with the Director and Educational Diagnostician, they assured us they could accept our son into the program. They saw the potential in him from the beginning.

A year later our daughter started in the 2-year old room. She did not stop crying for weeks! Her teachers were kind, patient, and supportive and enabled her to work through her separation anxiety. They are now 11 and 8 and to this day we look through their Me Books and relive all of the fond memories we have of our 4 years at Compass!

We have gotten so much from our time here at Compass Christian Preschool This was the second place we looked at. My friend highly recommended that we take the tour, as her son was attending at the time. The minute we walked through the doors, we were immediately greeted by such warmth and kindness.

Over the past three years, I become very close with my children’s teachers, and have thoroughly enjoyed being room mom and volunteering when needed or asked too. Ms. Kim, the director and her staff treated our children as if they were their own. I am so blessed to still have two more years left at this wonderful, Godly, spirit-filled preschool.

I sent both of my daughters to Compass Christian Preschool and can tell you it is not just a school…It is a loving and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, have compassion for others, utilize their creativity, and grow in their walk with the Lord. The teachers and administration are kind, talented and clearly have a passion for what they do.

Words can also not express my gratitude for how well Compass Christian took care of my daughter who has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy. The school worked tirelessly to educate themselves and improve policies on how to keep all of their students with food allergies safe.

Finally, I highly recommend the Transitional Kindergarten program. It not only prepared my daughters for kindergarten, but also for first grade. Thank you, Compass Christian Preschool. You will always be a part of our family.

I had three children attend Compass Christian Preschool, each one with entirely different personalities, needs, and challenges. The teachers and staff not only loved and delighted in each child for who they were, but worked hard to make sure each one was reaching his or her full potential academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Compass Christian Preschool was a safe place for my children to learn, grow, and explore, and has set the foundation for children who know they are valued, important, and loved by their Creator. Not to mention that my children each received a high quality, top notch preschool education that was well rounded and comprehensive. I could not imagine a better preschool for my children to have attended!
