Students in our Four-Year-Old program are provided whole child learning experiences through our specially designed curriculum. The curriculum is developed using the skills that the Grapevine-Colleyville and Carroll school districts want students to have upon entering kindergarten. Balances of hands-on and formal teaching styles are used to meet each child’s individual level. They continue learning basic handwriting skills using the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and workbooks. Students are placed in reading groups meeting their individual needs whether they are already reading or just beginning. The children attend developmentally appropriate music class once each week and chapel once a week with the Three-year-old and Transitional Kindergarten classes. The Fours class also enjoys playtime on our indoor and outdoor play areas each week.
